Misahualli (land of the giants)

The Misahualli river is located below the city of Tena just a ten minute drive in pick-up truck to the put-in a the beginning the flat water paddling is beautiful landscape  and them the Misahualli becomes larger as it combines with the flow of four more major rivers. The rapids are big and powerful , with names like sapo sumarino, chicas al reves, vi boa aqui, paranoid, and very appropriately named LAND OF GIANTS . Here we scout of this rapid while portaging the waterfall. This river has amazing canyon scenery, bird life and waterfalls cascading into the river. It is ideal for people who like action + anedraline and adventure in one day. All participants need previous experience and skills with white-water rafting. The trip ends when we arrive at one of the major tributaries of the Amazon in Puerto Misahualli. Where Misahualli River joins with Napo River .
