Aquaxtreme Adventure Tours, matched only by one other agency in the area, was founded and is run completely by a native Ecuadorean family.

The goals of this family include sharing the experiences of extreme sporting while mixing in the charm of the local culture by means of our ecological tours ( rafting, canyoning, kayaking, tubing, biking, jungle... )

Daniel Robles Romero, founder of the company, has over 8 years of experience of guiding in extreme sports and was born and raised in Tena. Daniel has led numerous trips and has first-hand knowledge of the special concerns to be encountered during a journey and how to make the trip both safe and fun . Daniel has also led many trips down Ecuadorean Rivers, jungle trips, canyonig tours and kayaking expeditions.
He has national and international guiding certifications (Ministry of Tourism and I.R.F) wilderness first aid responder (Sirius of Canada) and rescue procedures.

All guides working with our company are certified with first aid , white-water rescue procedures and have experience in the specific activity that will lead.
In addiction these  native guides have a profound knowledge of the local culture, river, plants, and animals. Etc, and desire to share this knowledge.
There is no better way to have a great experience in the jungle than with the native guides while supporting a local family and community.
Aquaxtreme support the local community of Tena by donating 10% of their earnings to buy medicine and school supplies for the people of nearby villages.
